Cyril Wendl

Cyril Wendl, *1992, Swiss, currently living in Zurich, Switzerland.

I will start working as a teacher this year, a new challenge to which I’m particularly looking forward to.

I’m a part-time photographer and you can find my portfolio here. In particular, I love photographing people, landscapes, architecture and flowers.

I’m passionate about sustainability and technology, both on a personal and a professional perspective. On a personal level, I love cycling as a great way to travel slowly and get to know local cultures deeply. On a professional level, I have worked for three years as a «Senior Risk & Data Analyst» for the reinsurance company PartnerRe, focusing on automation and sustainability. But I’m not just interested in tech but also in people, which is why I completed an MBA after my engineering degree, realising that all technology must be deeply anchored in people’s needs and desires. Bringing together tech and people is one of my passions, which I will try to strengthen within my new profession as a teacher.

Aside from cycling, I also play the guitar, I like to sing in choirs and I love cooking and eating all kinds of delicious food!
